Also in news today…

Due to multiple incidents of erratic driving, and a growing public concern for the safety of those traveling around the campus of Walker Valley High School, Bradley County Sheriff Steve Lawson has called deputies to patrol around the campus, and specifically, Walker Valley Road.

Sheriff Lawson would like to remind everyone driving around the area that school zones are set up for a purpose, and that they are for everyone’s safety. Please understand that roadways such as Walker Valley Road are narrow and were not designed for high amounts of traffic.

Please remember to obey the posted speed limits. Be attentive to your surroundings and remember, if you need to use your phone, please use your hands-free device. No life is worth losing over a call, text, high speed, or carlessness.

Bradley County Sheriff Steve Lawson will be LIVE with Steve Hartline this morning on Mix 104-1.
