In news today…

The Cleveland City Council met on Monday covering several items of business. An update was given on the pool at Tinsley Park. The city will make an effort to open up the pool for this summer with some caveats. Due to a leak, it’s a costly pool to operate, but the city does think it will be feasible. The city is also looking at plans for another pool in the future. During the meeting, the Council also recognized Principal of the Year winner Dr. Linetta Lang.

Also in news today…

The Bradley County Commission met Monday, during which County Mayor D. Gary Davis reported that COVID-19 numbers were up around 400, the highest since March 26th. State data indicates around 44,000 have had at least one shot. Director of Schools Dr. Linda Cash was congratulated on her nomination for Supervisor of the Year for this part of Tennessee.
